Excuse me whilst I go find a drool bucket. April 23 So long, mi amigos'Till next season, Calgary Flames, Flames fans, and fLames bandwagoners. I hope you enjoyed your playoff run as much as I did.
Before you go reminding me that my precious Oilers didn't even make the playoffs, I would like to bring to your attention the fact that I never expected them to make it, nor did I expect them to make another grand dash for Lord Stanley's Cup in the most unlikely event that they did. Besides, while the franchise of Oilers did not make the playoffs, the soul did. Ryan Smyth had his crack at it.
So wipe your noses, dry your eyes, and get ready for next season.

Person: Hobbes the stuffed tiger April 15 Food for ThoughtHere's a paragraph I cooked up for Social recently. I had to take a stance that dictators rise to power based only on their charisma, and these are my thoughts on that. Enjoy, and gimme some feedback.
Dictators come to power solely due to their charisma and their ability to sway the opinions of the masses. They prey upon the feelings of the crowd; the mob mentality is powerful, and the ability ot manipulate it makes a man a ruler. People do not like a man for what he says: they like him for how he says it. The man with the best message may be shunned and comtempted because he cannot deliver the message in an attractive fashion. A dictator rising to power is nothing more than an ambitious, power-hungry salesman. Their charisma enables them to 'sell snow to Eskimos', to borrow the colloquialism. They attract the attention and adoration of the people, and when the prey is hooked, there is no turning back. April 10 The Weekly Feature, Issue XIXBand: Breaking Benjamin
